Features of life in London

In order to visit London, you need to make a lot of effort. First of all, these are financial costs, since a trip to this country is not a cheap pleasure. The second is getting a British visa. Here you need to try very hard to get it. It is because of these conditions that people often try to plan a trip to London in advance.

In addition, in order for the first visit not to spoil the impression, it is necessary to know some of the peculiarities of life in London. For example, very often many consider England to be a country of cycling, although in reality this is not the case.

Despite the fact that there are a huge number of bike paths in London, the rhythm of traffic intensity is still beyond the reach of cyclists. As for gastronomic preferences, in London they are usually not for everybody's taste. Puddings, watery oatmeal, scrambled eggs and bacon - not everyone likes them, but, of course, you can give preference to something more traditional and familiar. In general, the most normal thing to taste from English cuisine is roast beef. As for drinks, in London they are just as bad as food.

For example, it is better to drink bottled water here, and the chance of finding good brewed coffee is negligible. In terms of tea, things are not as good as we would like, since this drink is presented in the form of milk, which is diluted with tea. Despite all these minor flaws, London is still a wonderful city.

Having arrived here once, everyone wants to make a trip on a double-decker bus - although it is worth considering that the pleasure is not cheap, but it still justifies itself. However, as in the rest of the world, a large number of pickpockets are committed here. First of all, this is due to the huge presence of tourists who pretend to buy souvenirs, thereby attracting the interest of fraudsters.

It is also very difficult to imagine a trip without visiting the Tower, which, like a trip on a double-decker bus, costs a lot of money. It is not worth focusing too much on this attraction, since there are a large number of interesting museums in London, which are absolutely free to visit. In general, despite the large number of shortcomings of this city, the number of tourists does not cease to decrease every year. All this is due to the fact that in all the disadvantages you can find your own advantages, and everyone wants to plunge into the unique beauty of the streets of foggy London.
