Girona, relatively small, but rich in monuments, was created for leisurely sightseeing excursions, during which the guide in English tells in detail about the history of each building, and tourists examine it. Walk along the medieval city walls (more precisely, along the part that has survived to this day), drink a cup of coffee in one of the cafes on the Ramblas, a favorite resting place of the townspeople, then pay tribute to the cathedral, the St. Philippe church, the Onyar promenade and other attractions in Girona. The Jewish quarter perfectly preserved since the Middle Ages deserves a worthwhile mention: you can wander through the intricacies of its narrow picturesque streets for several hours. Of the museums of Girona, 1001guide recommends the Museum of Art and the Museum of Cinema.
