Every corner of the world has its unique stories; local tales breathed into life by the people and carried by the wind across time

An interesting landmark and architectural monument in the Czech Republic is Lednice Castle. It is located on the border of the three countries of Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, in the southeastern part of the country. Not far from the small town of Mikulov, immersed in the greenery of the park, the castle rises majestically on the banks of the Dyya River.

In the distant XIII century, a small fortress surrounded by the extraordinarily amazing Yezersk Mountains appeared near the beautiful Garkovitsky stream near the fast-moving Nisa-Luzhitskaya River. It was gradually completed and expanded, after which the city of Liberec appeared. The first mention of this city appeared in historical sources in 1352.
