Greece, a country where there is everything! And its capital Athens

In the southeastern part of Europe there is a state that every tourist knows is Greece. The country has absolutely everything for a comfortable stay, exciting excursions and walks. Greece is a multilateral state, leading an original, but at the same time harmoniously combined with modern foundations, way of life.

Talking about Greece, it is impossible not to focus on its capital - Athens, a chic but expensive city, which is what the locals themselves consider it to be.

Walking through the streets of Athens reveals all the grandeur of this city. On the way of travel all the time come across any monuments and sights. Athens, first of all, is famous for the ancient Acropolis. This is a kind of symbol of the capital of Greece, in which the majestic temple of the goddess Athena Parthenos is located. 

This building is known all over the world. Every tourist is amazed at the lightness of the temple, its "airy" colonnade. Also, upon arrival in Athens, one cannot fail to visit another very significant place for the capital - the small temple of Nike Apteros. This famous architectural structure was built in honor of the goddess of victory; according to ancient legend, the Greeks clipped her wings so that victory would never leave the capital of Greece.

Walking around Athens also means visiting the ruins of the temple of Olympian Zeus, as well as the Arch of Hadrian. No less interesting will be the Panathea Stadium, where the first Olympic Games were held. To date, the old building has been reconstructed and rebuilt, the palace has a capacity of up to 60 thousand people.

In general, Athens is a very interesting city, where not only sights amaze. The locals are quite hospitable and open. And at night, Athens generally becomes the most lively city, because the “night party life” of the capital is also a kind of attraction. Hotels and inns of various classes are open for tourists, so there are no problems with accommodation. And holidays with children in Greece are becoming more and more popular, and even more so in Athens, because here even the smallest travelers will be interested, the rest will be filled with emotions.

Visiting Athens is possible all year round, because the climate here is very mild, but the tourist season established over the years is from May to October.
